Finally, bloggers and online journalists have tasted victory in the lawsuit against iPod maker Apple Inc. In the lawsuit, Apple had sued many bloggers covering Apple rumors stating that they are revealing the ‘top-secret’ information on an unreleased product. But now, when the bloggers have won the case against the big firm, a gust of happiness has spread in the blogosphere.
Apple has been ordered to pay approximately $700,000 to the bloggers and online journalists. Though the amount doesn’t mean anything for Apple that reported a profit of nearly $1 billion in December but the main thing here is the victory of bloggers.
Being a blogger, I am feeling so proud to be part of the blogosphere. This lawsuit victory simply signifies the power of bloggers and online journalists. So, dear Apple, when you think of making a case against bloggers next time; please do think twice.
