The warhorse is preparing for the battle by reinventing itself. Digg will soon host new features which has been added to the site.
Kevin Rose lead team has gone for changes like: new interface design which will see Digg going wide screen, Top 10 Stories/Videos of the category, Podcasting and profile enhancement features.
The new wide screen feature will move Digg out of the rigid page layout structure to a flexible one and the navigation links will also be moved to the top.
The video viewing has been made simpler as now the Diggers will be able to watch video son Digg itself.
The top 10 stories feature will let you quickly view top stories of the hour even after they have moved out of the home page.
With the podcast feature the user can now Digg in his/her favorite podcast series.
The profile enhancement will see that you can now view your Digg stories and your friends Digg stories in separate tabs.
