Google has developed a reader for iPhone, the multimedia and Internet-enabled quad-band GSM EDGE-supported mobile phone designed and sold by Apple Inc. Its functionalities and highly techie features seem to be growing every day.
From Voicemail, camera, text messaging, player, e-mail, web browsing and local Wi-Fi connectivity and now the reader, all owe to the technical brilliance of the Google web Toolkit.
Talking on the primary take-away from this project, Bob Vawter, Google’s Research Actualization Engineer said,
The Google Web Toolkit can be used to create applications that, in the same code base, work well on an iPhone and a traditional desktop browser. Having played with the Google Reader for iPhone I can’t say that I disagree.

The iPhone Reader from Google combines the Google AJAX Feed API with a user interface geared for use on the iPhone so as to blend in the application use with the style and feel of the Apple product.
The users using this feature of reader have to scroll through tags as this reader for iPhone doesn’t discriminate based on tags.
So, there are a few changes and improvements expected from it. But, this feature has gone another step ahead in technology. Thus giving us more features and usable data while on the go.
