Google buys new social networking site, Zingku

Google has taken one more step further in expanding its mobile space with the acquisition of one more social networking site, Zingku. Zingku has entered into an agreement with Google, so that Google can acquire Zingku service. Zingku service allows you to create and exchange things like invitations, ‘mobile flyers’ and pictures with friends over the phone. Zingku integrates your phone with a personalized web site so that you can more easily move such things back and forth. With Zingku, the things which you want to share and promote can easily be created and fetched through mobile phone, instant messenger or web browser. Other features of Zingku are following: 1) It stores & fetches mobile photos and txt reminders with alarms on your companion mobile web site. 2) You can also share mobile photos and posts with friends with txt messaging instant messenger, and web. 3) The service gathers big crowd & their friends with txt messaging, IM, and email, all at once! 4) With the Zingku service, you can take an instant poll among friends, all with txt messaging. 5) Your own mobile cards that people fetch by texting a magic code. 6) The service fetches postings from any blog or any syndicated feed your mobile phone through txt message. Initially the service is limited to the US until it is migrated to Google services. In 2005 also Google bought dodgeball, another mobile social network.
