Slowly but surely Google is making it certain that it wants to dominate the web in future. And in its quest to do so Google is acquiring many small as well as medium size establishments, which have potential to emerge strong in near future. Just some days it acquired Tonic and now it’s the turn of Zenter, a company that provides software for creating online slide presentations. The amount of the deal hasn’t been disclosed yet. When I tried to open Zenter homepage. It read: Google has acquired Zenter. Which means that now Google wants to revamp Zenter that’s why all its content has been removed. Though Google’s Gmail already has a web-based PowerPoint preview feature, and they want to go live with a web-based presentations editor.

In no time Google has emerged as a potential threat to big players like Yahoo and Microsoft. In fact today Google is one of the most cherished organizations. And it’s high time that its competitors pull up their socks before it gets too late to react.
