Citizen Media Private Limited, the company that runs Instablogs Network, Asia’s first and biggest blog network has launched Instablogs Community today.
Ankit Maheshwari, Instablogs Chief Business Development Officer and the brain behind this project on announcing the launch of the much-awaited community writes;
Instablogs Community in simple words is a personalized platform that endeavors to bring bloggers and readers closer. We do it by keeping the focus on the readers and actually making them a part of the whole blogging process.
The Instablogs Community has a plethora of social tools, which not only empower readers but also help them to become writers themselves. The new version encourages better communication between writers and readers and symbolizes the crux of ‘Citizen Journalism’ or ‘Participatory Journalism’ in its true sense, i.e. ‘Journalism by the people, for the people’.
The small software team of Instablogs, which includes Ankit Maheshwari himself, had to burn the candles on both the ends to make sure that the launch is not delayed any further. The launch date had to be postponed because of a few technical glitches, and 2 out of 3 of the top developers falling sick just in the nick of time.
Now, the Blog Network v2.0 is already up with Instablogs showing the way, it will likely to give other networks the idea on how change themselves by emulating and incorporating a few things from Instablogs Community.

Good start. I hope Instablogs Network should cover more Indian and local news items, which would be of the interest of Indian community.
