windows live translator

For Microsoft, nothing is impossible. We are more or less familiar with translation services from Google, Yahoo and obviously Babel Fish. Microsoft has just geared up to provide translation service to the online users. It is Windows Live Translator.

Microsoft’s translation service is in beta now. It appears like Babel Fish, which I regularly use to translate from English to German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian.

I have checked the Windows Live Translator. First of all, it can support 12 languages and 500 characters in the translation box. You can also translate web pages. As of now, almost all the languages are not working. There is an important addition called computer related content checkbox, which we find in very few translators.

The Windows Live Translator has been powered by Systran, which supports Yahoo!, AltaVista’s Babel Fish and Google’s language tools.
