military blogging
Blogging is the latest way people express themselves and their viewpoints. However, it seems that Ministry of Defense isn’t okay with the fact. After the restrictions put on the American troops in Iraq for blogging, the ban has exceeded to include all of the military personnel’s. Yes! The Ministry of Defense has officially announced a ban on blogging by militia. Well, the reason they have given is that they don’t want militia people to leak out their experiences. However, they are allowed blogging and text messages only under the scanning and with permission.

With the restriction of blogging and text messages, multi-player computer games, relieving of photos, videos or any audios related to defense world won’t be allowed too. The rules are not only for military but also members of Territorial Army (on duty) and civil servants working for MoD. I guess it is not a right step as military bloggers presented to us the right pictures of situations in war ones, camps, their poor living and other experiences (good or bad). Also, I am pretty sure that the militia won’t be too happy with the decision too. The curb on the freedom of expression is surely going to face some protest either directly or through the medium of anonymous blogging.
