
MySpace is also going the YouTube way. On Monday it announced that it has joined hands with Gracenote to help it detect the copyrighted content and block it.
This will allow them to be more proactive in enforcing copyright. Copyrighted material especially music are the biggest attractions of these site.
Earlier in the start of the year YouTube also announced the similar thing for their hugely popular website.
But unlike YouTube which is asking the copyright holders to allow the access and share the revenue in ads placed around that content MySpace plane to simply Block copyright content.
YouTube also recently announced the blockage of the contents of comedy central but the now as the companies see the value of the website ($1.65 billion to be exact) with free share TV clips they are also thinking in terms of sharing money with the YouTube.
