MySpace has announced signing a contract with lesser known company Oberon Media. Oberoi Media provides gaming solutions to Yahoo, Microsoft etc. Both these companies together will create exclusive gaming channel on MySpace which supposedly will be called MySpace Games. The channel will be launched in January 2008 and players will be able to pick and choose games from the MySpace reservoir, via Oberon (counting to hundreds) and can play single or with friends. They can challenge other friends, plat head to head to multi player games, users can invite their friends to participate in the same single player game or discuss via MySpace chat services. Users can also store games on their MySpace profiles. MySpace users can play the games free.
