The new social network ‘MyTimeHero‘ can be said to be a mature MySpace. Well, mature MySpace in the sense that it offers a platform for the older people to interact with each others. The site says:
The true mission of myTimeHero.com is to provide a community that allows simple, quick, and proud usage of the Internet to extend gratitude and respect to those who have become heroes in time.

Interestingly, the Sign-Up form doesn’t even give the option if you are below 30 years. But, if someone is 31, he or she can go for the registration. The site gives text description of every link on the page and the option to change the text size too. The “Stories” section will host latest news and insightful articles for the elderly.
Unlike Eons, which lately received $2 million in funding, MyTimeHero wants parents to join and their children or grandchildren to pay them respect. Moreover, there is an option to nominate a Time Hero and this feature might attract good number of visitors.
The brains behind the project are Josh Olin and Ian Peterson of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
