National Geographic introduces widgets for readers

In an effort to attract online readers towards its news stuffs, US-based National Geographic Society has introduced a widget, using which you can get the latest news, video clippings and other interesting stuffs as they are uploaded at the site. Developed by Clearspring, the widget enables users to put National Geographic stuffs on their personal blogs and web space like iGoogle, MySpace, Facebook and others. You can also share the stuffs with your friends through emails. The US-based non-profit educational and scientific organization provides latest news on geography, archaeology and natural science, the promotion of environmental and historical conservation, and the study of world culture and history. The leading news organizations like Washington Post, Reuters, USA Today and Time Magazine have already launched their widgets to spread their contents among the users.
