Does the name Pentax ring a bell? If you are a photographer of some sort or have been in the photo business, you need remember who Pentax is. This is because, the Pentax company photo gallery is displaying the best works of photographers and, if you keep an eye on this, you might get lucky.
The Pentax gallery is a nice blend of images and is also, a part of the Pentax suite. I think if you call yourself a Pentaxian, the gallery is a must see. This gallery would be similar to Flickr, Picasa, or the already existing photo bucket. It is indeed a great place to share your work, and network with other photographers as well.
The best part about this gallery is the voting system. If you are a good photographer, you should be able to get a lot of votes from the visitors. This will increase your popularity. Also, if you get a lot of votes, your work might be showcased in the premiere gallery.
Images are selected based on merit and, the technical know-how of the person is judged as well. The gallery does two things: promote Pentax products, as well promote aspiring artists. I think this is a great deal for the new photographers.
