First, we had TapeFailure, then ClickTale, and now we have RobotReplay that went live at the Web 2.0 Expo. Well, RobotReplay is another user behavior tracking tool for web publishers or we can say it to be a session recorder.
RobotReplay will work side by side with other tracking tools such as Google Analytics and ClickTracks. Nitobi, the parent company calls this emerging technology ‘cinelytics.’ It will keep a check on the user’s activity at your site say for how long they stayed on a specific page and other usual stuff. Moreover, RobotReplay offers reports that lend a hand to users to find out which sessions to watch and how to pencil in conclusions from the recorded data.
The noteworthy difference from other such sites is that the recorded sessions on RobotReplay are Ajax and Javscript not flash based videos so that users can view the session using the live site.
They have plans to add some more features into the site and a continuous feedback will certainly help them roll out a better service.
