Void Communications LLC, a startup is promising a level of secrecy in emailing and IMs that leaves no traces.
The system named VaporStream works this way. Suppose A wants to discuss something with B privately, A calls up a VaporStream web page which is encrypted with the same level of security as in e-commerce encryption. Then A selects B on her list of VaporStream chat buddies. When B replies, A’s original message dissapears.
Now isn’t this going to create some security issues amongst firms when it comes to communications between or from employees? Besides, the kind of security paranoia some countries are reeling under, this is surely going to raise some opposition. However, given billions of messages going untraced, this new system doesn’t look more than a mere stunt by Void Communications.
Anyway, this new system will be unveiled in the upcoming DEMO.
