Most of us are Orkut users, aren’t we? Well, when the news of Orkut being redesigned flashed across we were thrilled. True that there was much hype about the redesigning concept and today, finally I logged into my account but to my disappointment, it wasn’t what I expected.
No doubts, they have redesigned the site but it seems the designers haven’ put much effort in. I love the color blue and so, have no problems with the light blue color they have now. I liked it more then the previous blue actually. However, it is actually funny that nothing innovative has been introduced. Just a few rounded icons, tabs on top to switch from the scrapbook to the home page to friends or communities and new icons. Was that all that we expected from the second popular social network? In short, I am disappointed and I guess its time they hire some new designers.
