Well, the culture of sharing your favorite video and putting it on other social network profiles and blogs is now a thing of the past. So, what’s new? Ask me that and I’ll tell you that this is a piece of news significant for bloggers all over the world. Yeah! Bloggers can now catch the latest videos those too, current event/news videos. NewsMarket today launched VideoCafe, a service that will enable bloggers to embed videos related to the current events with their articles. Thus, bloggers can now, make their posts more interesting with related videos and a hassle free downloading. The method and the technique, however, remain the same; you can get the video after embedding the video code. The videos will be free to journalists and bloggers. However, currently the service is available as Beta and can be used only on invitation basis.
Shoba Purushothaman, CEO of The NewsMarket regarding the service said,
VideoCafe meets the rising demand for video from bloggers looking to increase their relevance and influence by providing multimedia content to their posts. As our video archive has grown, we’ve seen a sharp increase in requests from bloggers for access to the content. We now have new capabilities in our technical infrastructure designed to support the needs of bloggers who are keen to be able link to and embed video within their posts.
So, we hope that slowly this ‘invite only’ tag will be removed and the service could be directly accessed. Till then, wait for an invitation!
