More and more web 2.0 companies are going Digg’s style. Now, MySpace is going to launch a aggregator dubbed MySpace News in the later half of 2007. Based on user rating, the news aggregator is said to be a combination of Google News and Digg.
MySpace News will aggregate the real-time news and blogs from top sites around the web and allow the users to submit and rate the stories.
Though we are short on info, it would be interesting to see how MySpcae will cope up with the issues like aggregating the news from different sites the way Google does. What will be their selection pattern for the major news of the day? Well, for now, we can’t comment much on the same but I would be pleased to find MySpace News Widgets on the page. But, it’s not that easy to outrun the big Digg.
