After a string of controversies in the YouTube home over copyright issues which saw many clips being barred, the YouTube has finally got some recognition for its work. The Time magazine has declared YouTube ‘Invention of the year’.
It started with a single video of a trip to zoo the site has grown into being one of the most popular site. Today it shows almost 100 million videos and its users load an estimated 70,000 video a day.
The users of the site say that now sharing your videos is a new way to communicate. In this race of being named the invention of the year the YouTube beat Gardasil , a vaccine that fights of sexually transmitted disease and Hug shirt which replicate the feeling of being hugged by a loved one.
