Finally, Google has girded up its loins to start filtering video content on YouTube for copyrighted materials. The Google’s YouTube is being reported to have licensed the copyright filtering technology from AudibleMagic .
Google has earlier made long promises in context to the unbridled piracy on the online video sharing sites. Anyway, MySpace has already licensed the video filtering technology from AudibleMagic for the protection of copyright content.
This announcement will be warmly accepted by all the copyright holders. But, the time will tell how effectively the AudibleMagic’s copyright filtering technology would do its work.
