Boasting the ‘cross-domain drag and drop’ capability, the new startup Zude claims to be the “Switzerland of the social Web.” Well, the site allows anyone to create a web page for any pet purpose.
Zude hopes to redefine web 2.0 with superior technology, community consolidation, and unparalleled power, flexibility, and simplicity. It is an effective tool for creating personal web presences, authoring multimedia Web pages, and amalgamating web-based content.
We have already seen many other sites such as Netvibes, Vox etc. that work on the same notion but the ease of using the drag-and drop functionality puts the tool at an advantage. All you need to do is to open a new browser window and then drag anything like photos, videos, or widgets to drop them on your Zude page. Organizing and sharing the content is damn east with Zude.
Zude has already received $5 million in funding. The site is in beta phase and inviting people for a test tour. The idea is so simple and I won’t be surprised if it outruns Netvibes in the near future.

Dont know if you got a chance to look at ZCubes (www.zcubes.com). These zude guys seem to copy a lot from them.
Zude ended up killing themselves. Their much hyped mega release bombed big time and they had to remain content with the private beta release.
What a pity...
